Chiringstone is a small café in El Medano, the paradise of surfers in the south of Tenerife, the biggest island of the Canarias archipelago in the south-east ATLANTIC ocean.

One day I heard on the local cultural radio a call for Jam Cessions, welcoming professional musicians if they come with their own instruments. I'm not a pro musician but I went with my bass, some percussions and harmonicas and encountered Carlos, from Argentina, the initiator of these Jam Cession on mondays, and it was love at the first sight! Since then, everytime I am in Tenerife, my monday night is dedicated to this unique event.

I encountered Sara at the local supermarket in the village I live, she was just a neigbour! And one day we talk about music and dance, and discovered we knew Carlos separately.

Last year, Carlos birthday fall on a monday. Sara asked me if we could go together to the Jam Cession, because she wanted to give a present to Carlos that she admired as a musician an as a man.

I did know nothing about her talent of dancer!

This video is a pure encounter between two great artists, that give totally their soul in their art, with no compromise, and simply reach the heart of the people just with their talent and sincerity. These two beautiful human beings are now just my friends for life! I could catch this completely unexpected moment because these people are some kind of close Family of our Humanity, and I am proud they are my friends, brother and sister in life forever ! This shooting happened, completely improvised, on the birtday of Carlos , it was a present of Sara , not only to him, but to all the audience.

Carlos is a fantastic jazz flamenco guitarist born in Argentina.

He lives and works now in Tenerife.

Logline: Sara is originally a flemish/libanese dancer and choreografer. She landed oe day in Tenerife and strted her own dance studio, teaching dance and meditative techniques for the body and spirit. She specialised in a very personnal interpretation of the flamenco tradition, adding element from her middle east, Hindi and Asian traditions to develop her very personnal style. She now lives and teach dance in Granada, Spain.
